Department of Communications Studies launches online research journal

Chapman University’s Department of Communication Studies, part of the Wilkinson College of Humanities & Social Sciences, has launched an online research journal,
Meta-communicate
. This is the first journal of its kind in the department, said founding editor-in-chief Michelle Freeman. Lambda Pi Eta, the communication honor society, also sponsors the e-journal.

The journal provides an opportunity for students to publish original research conducted in upper division communication courses. The first issue features three articles that focus on communication subjects related to social media and can be found here and can be read

is a great leap for the communication studies department onto Chapman’s center stage of standout majors,” said Freeman.
