Save the date: An Evening with Huell Howser, Oct. 13

Come listen to fascinating tales and stories of high adventure from a true California broadcasting legend when the creator and star of California’s Gold! visits Chapman University at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, in Memorial Hall.

Huell Howser will share experiences from his 20-plus years of filming and hosting California’s Gold and its affiliated shows (Visiting with Huell Howser, Road Trip with Huell Howser, California’s Golden Parks, California’s Golden Coast, California’s Missions, California’s Green, California’s Water, Downtown and more).

After more than 20 years in production, California’s Gold is one of the longest-running and most beloved series about California ever produced. Howser’s shows can be viewed six nights a week on KCET, and at various times on California PBS stations statewide and in Oregon, Nevada and Tennessee. Admission is free and doors open at 6:15 p.m.
