The time has come- for the annual gathering of comic book fans, video game fanatics, and anime aficionados. Comic-Con International starts today!  Superheroes, and villains will join forces for 4 days to celebrate the art of comics, enjoy panel discussions, meet celebrities, and preview all that is to come for movies, all while dressed in costumes and cosplay outfits.

The convention attracts those of all ages, the young and the young at heart.   Chapman University staff member, Abbie Kane from Human Resources, is taking her four year old son Harry for the first time.  “No dressing up (for him) this year… It will be interesting to see which direction he gravitates to: DC or Marvel.”

We’d love to show off the Panther presence at the convention, so if you’re a Chapman student, staff, or faculty member be sure to take lots of pictures and then send them our way so we can display them on the Happenings blog.  Hope all of you attending have fun and “May the Force be with you!”
