Retirement reception for Professor Cucunato to be May 4

A retirement reception celebrating her 35 years as a dance educator at Chapman University will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the George H. W. Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall, for Donna Cucunato, associate professor, College of Educational Studies.

Cucunato developed Chapman’s dance program and acted as its director for 16 years. In addition, she has taught dance, choreography, dance history, educational methods and sports psychology. Since 1995 she has also been the liberal studies program coordinator for the College of Educational Studies.
