Inside Job, the Academy Award winning film that the Los Angeles Times called “a powerhouse of a documentary that will leave you thunderstruck and boiling with rage,” will be screened at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, by Chapman University School of Law’s Center for Global Law and Development

The free screening to be held in Folino Theater will be followed by a panel discussion with Chapman law professors Tim Canova and Kurt Eggert, former SEC investigator and whistleblower Gary Aguirre, and Chapman University Presidential Fellow Steven Gjerstad, Ph.D., a member of Chapman University’s Economic Science Institute.

Inside Job attempts to provide a comprehensive portrayal of an extremely important and timely subject: the worst financial crisis since the Depression, which continues to haunt us via Europe’s debt problems and global financial instability. Through extensive research and interviews with major financial insiders, politicians and journalists, Inside Job traces the rise of a rogue industry and unveils the corrosive relationships which have corrupted politics, regulation and academia.
