The Chapman University women’s basketball team is coming off its fourth 20-win season in five years and they returned to the NCAA tournament for the seventh time under head coach Carol Jue. each were named to the All-Independent team. This is the third Association of Division III Independents Coach of the Year award for Jue.
Hood earned first team honors after leading the Panthers this season in scoring (11.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg). The Norwalk, Calif. native had five double-doubles and 21 games with 10 or more points this season.
