The Chapman University women’s basketball team won its sixth straight game with a 56-34 victory over visiting UC Santa Cruz on Friday night at the Hutton Center. Of equal or greater significance, however, was a milestone victory for Panthers head coach Carol Jue, who became the school’s all-time winningest women’s head basketball coach with her 160th career victory at Chapman.
Jue surpassed her predecessor, Mary Hegarty, on Friday night to improve to 160-54 overall, a winning percentage of .748. See more coverage at the
