The Chapman Faculty and Staff Book Club just announced its spring reading list, which includes two classics and a new novel that won Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year Award for 2010.

The club meets Feb. 23 with a discussion of the landmark 1958 novel
Things Fall Apart
by Chinua Achebe, led by Charlene Baldwin, dean of Leatherby Libraries. Brennan Peterson, associate professor, Department of Psychology, will lead the March 23 discussion of Brady Udall’s new book,
The Lonely Polygamist
, honored by Publishers Weekly. The series closes April 27 when Stacy Russo, chair of public services for Leatherby Libraries, leads a discussion of Louise Erdrich’s
Love Medicine
, the first in the author’s long-running series that tells the story of two intertwined North Dakota families.

All meetings are from noon to 1 p.m. in the library’s fourth floor Hogan Seminar Room. Brown bag lunches are welcome.
