The opening reception for one of the largest art exhibits ever displayed at
Leatherby Libraries
will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct 7, in the library’s second floor lobby.

“Pensamientos Illuminacion de Arte” features the lush and colorful paintings and sculptures of Herman Silla, Aydee Martinez, Vladimir Cora, Nicholas Hernandez and Emilia Garcia. The exhibit is in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and is hosted by the Leatherby Libraries and Presidential Fellow Rueben Martinez. The exhibit includes more than 50 pieces of art.

Martinez is owner of
Libreria Martinez and Art Gallery
