In a matter of hours, Chapman University welcomes back America’s premier doo-wop group, The Alley Cats, who will take the Wells Fargo Stage for the final free concert of the 2010 summer series. By popular demand, The Alley Cats are performing for the third year in a row, with the concert beginning at 5:30 p.m in Attallah Piazza. It’s always a lively show as the guys harmonize on renditions of classics such as Barbara Ann, Come Go With Me and The Lion Sleeps Tonight.
Free popcorn and lemonade will be provided by Chapman University and the Chapman University Alumni Association, and Old Towne fave Cherry On Top will be giving away free frozen yogurt as well!
Campus opens at 4:30 p.m. for picnicking, so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and stake your spot before the piazza fills!
