Several Dodge College of Film and Media Arts alumni struck Comic-Con gold last week when their short films were accepted for screening at the popular convention’s prestigious film panels, with two films winning the top prize in their respective screening sections.

The winning films were
The Action Hero’s Guide to Saving Lives
, directed by
Justin Lutsky
, in the “Best Action/Adventure” category, and
Herpes Boy
, directed by Nate Atcheson, in the “Best Comedy” category. Most of the production work on the films was done while the filmmakers were Dodge students.
