If you’re a grown-up with a day job, remember this before you apply to law school – you’ll spend your vacation time studying for finals.

In today’s Orange County Register columnist Frank Mickadeit shares tales from the harried side of his “topsy-turvy life” as a middle-aged law student.  Mickadeit, a first-year student in Chapman’s School of Law, wrapped up finals this week, which technically makes him a second-year student. Well, we’re pretty sure of that anyway. Mickadeit made those finals sound pretty tough…

Mickadeit’s
column
also caught our attention for a story he shares regarding laptops in classrooms. Take a look at the column and read how a Georgetown Law School professor pulled a prank on his class that set the viral tongues wagging and proved how much class time gets tweeted, blogged and surfed away.
