Jerry Lewis, the original Nutty Professor.

The wonderfully wacky and comically brilliant actor and comedian Jerry Lewis will speak at 7 p.m., Monday, April 26, in Marion Knott Studios, room 111.

Best known for his slapstick humor, Lewis starred in the original

He won several awards for lifetime achievements from The American Comedy Awards, The Golden Camera, Los Angeles Film Critics Association, and the Venice Film Festival, and in 2005, received the Governor’s Award of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Board of Governors.

The lecture event is sponsored by the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Admission is free, but reservations are requested and may be arranged by contacting Julie Gorzik at 714 997-6766 or
