James Hosking (LLM, School of Law, ‘09) will be a featured guest on the “Dr. Phil” show Wednesday, April 14, when the talk-show tackles family law in an episode titled “Crisis in Family Court.”

Among the guests on Wednesday’s program will be a mother whose repeated warnings that her ex was threatening to kill their son and then himself failed to elicit the court’s help. Later the father committed the murder-suicide the mother had feared.

Hosking is a deputy district attorney in San Bernardino County, running in a judicial election against the judge in the case.  Dr. Phil airs at 4 p.m. on CBS and at 7 p.m. on KCAL 9. Shows are also available for viewing at
