With recent racial incidents and unrest on many California campuses fresh in mind, Associated Students and Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences are co-presenting a week-long symposium entitled “Bridging the Divide: A Conversation on Race and Racism in the 21st Century,” March 15-18. Here’s the schedule:

Guest Speaker REV. JAMES LAWSON, Former Civil Rights Movement Activist
Rev. Lawson was a leading theoretician and tactician of non-violence within the American civil rights movement. He continues to be active in training activists in non-violence.
Wednesday, March 17 – Sandhu Conference Center – 7 p.m.
Guest Speaker TIM WISE, leading anti-racism author and activist
